Why this workshop is essential for your B2+/C1: This workshop is designed for the mature student who wants to go beyond generic debate and analyze the social structures, power dynamics, and emotional expressions of contemporary Italian culture. We will use Elena Ferrante’s work as a lens to access C2 level vocabulary (journalistic, essay, and narrative) and to master the language of storytelling and criticism.
What you will learn:
- Complex Narrative Analysis: Syntactic structures and idioms used in high literature and opinion journalism.
- Socio-Cultural Lexicon: Specific vocabulary for discussing topics such as feminism, inequalities, family relationships, and Italian identity.
